Harp Construction was founded by Evan Gallagher with a goal of providing quality custom homes and renovations. Evan immigrated to Canada from Ireland. Growing up in a small town in Ireland, He learned the value of community which he continues to draw on in his work. Harp Construction believes that creating the perfect home is not only about knowledge and experience, but also about getting to know their clients and understating their individual needs. Evan has years of experience working in the construction industry and is educated in architecture ,in both Ireland and in Edinburgh Scotland. Since immigrating to Canada, he has gained experience in construction, both on site and in an architectural design environment. His background allows him to have hands on experience as well as more creative diversity in his work.
Evan prides himself in his communication with his clients and in keeping up to date on the latest in building technology.
Our Process
We start with a free consultation meeting. During this meeting we discuss your project and take the time to get to know more about you, and what your individual wants and needs are. We will spend time discussing possible ideas for your home. In addition, we will go over our entire process step by step. Our design team is available to help design your new project or we can work with you and your design team of choice to give you the best result.
At this time, we will also go over budgets and expectations to ensure that you are completely comfortable and to make sure that your expectations are in line with your budget.
Once we have your ideas we are able to provide you with an accurate estimate for your home renovation, project.
Construction Agreement And Schedule
After the construction budget is established and you are happy with it, we sign a build agreement. We will produce a schedule for your project; a timeline of each stage of the project from start date to completion.
It is now time to start your project.
Project Construction
Throughout the entire building process, our team will work hard to ensure that your budget and vision are being met. Our team will also maintain communication with you, giving you the opportunity to ask questions or provide input at any point. While we are building, we keep you and the schedule up to date throughout the progress of your project.
Preconstruction Design

Let us help you design your dream home or renovation. We start every project with a clear plan and design. We offer full design services, architectural plans with 3D views of your space and material selections for your home.
The design stage allows us to keep your dream in line with your budget and execute the perfect project on time and on budget.
We can also work with your Architect or designer to build your vision.
Construction Budget
Once we have established the design of your project we can produce architectural permit drawings.
With these, we determine the final cost and budget of your project based on quotes from relevant trades.
Every project is unique and every client is different. The budget is determined using the best workmanship and trades with no compromise to quality of work.
Our Quality Guarantee
When your project is complete, we will still take the time to answer any questions you might have. We pride ourselves on creating lasting relationships with our clients and we would love to hear from you at any time.
Upon completion, we do a site review with you and your project’s team. We record all deficiencies and fix them prior to your move in.
